The video shows the car reaching 259 mph (417 km/h), or just 2 mph (3 km/h) shy of the car’s electronically limited 261 mph (420 km/h) top speed. In the original video, there was only the car’s speedometer to verify its speed, which usually isn’t 100 percent accurate.
